I'm a humanities teacher and researcher from Tel-Aviv, now located at Luxembourg. I've been traveling quite a bit, and enjoy music, reading, and good talk. I am married and we have two children, a girl and a boy, aged 8&3.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

mainly in order to see things in less touristic way. I appreciate the idea of hospitality and see this somewhat as a beautiful way of practicing it.

Music, Movies, and Books

As I write I'm enjoying Coltrane's My favorite things. Yet I used to listen to Hard core rock, got tired of it, and moved to jazz, Indian and Arab traditional music, tasting classical.I know good music when I hear it, so to speak.
Books-
well, I read a lot, right now I am reading Richard ford's The sportswriter. I adore Phillip Roth, that's for sure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

dived my lungs off a dive master in Utila, Honduras, for more over then 350 dive in less than a year. phew...
