Hey :) I'm Beth, I'm a 21 year old dreamer and aspiring writer. I like dark narrative, hip-hop, crunchy peanut butter, scrabble, theatre, red wine.

I'm not religious but I love Christmas an unhealthy amount. I also like politics, owls, art, poetry, exploring abandoned buildings. I love puns. I hate mushrooms.

I like open minded, laid back people with a sense of humour and adventure. I like meeting people who I can share a smoke and a story with. I love food but I am an appalling cook. I'm also probably the clumsiest person I know.

Can't be on with really uptight folk, don't tend to get along with really right-wing people, and I can't stand people who are prejudiced.

Music, Movies, and Books

Book-wise some of my favourites are A Clockwork Orange, Trainspotting (in fact everything Irvine Welsh has ever written), Perfume, Hangover Square, The Book of Lost Things, Harry Potter (of course!), The Bell Jar, The Wasp Factory, The Catcher In The Rye, Lolita, Smut, The Testament of Gideon Mack, The Bloody Chamber, Animal Farm, anything by Sarah Waters or Neil Gaiman. I'm a bit obsessed with Oscar Wilde. I could go on forever really. My favourite poets are probably Keats, Byron, Edgar Alan Poe. And for non-fiction it's got to be Bill Bryson.

I pretty much like films that aren't rom-coms. Space Jam, Trainspotting, A Clockwork Orange, Addam's Family Values, Girl Interrupted, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas and anything by Stanley Kubrick or Quentin Tarantino.

I have fairly varied music taste, I love Kanye West, Crystal Castles, Jhene Aiko, Swedish House Mafia, Robyn, Lorde, Empire Of The Sun, Tyler the Creator, Broken Social Scene, Public Enemy, Miley Cyrus, Disclosure, Childish Gambino, Earl Sweatshirt, The Velvet Underground, The Smiths, The Weeknd, David Bowie, The Cure, Wu-Tang Clan, Sonic Youth, Belle & Sebastian, Amy Winehouse, Frank Ocean, and many more! I love Hip-Hop, any Majestic Casual is always good and I love hearing new music, local festivals and DIY gigs are magic!

I love watching random documentaries. As for actual TV shows, The Simpsons and Peep Show are my favourites.
