ABOUT ME

I live in the town of Greenbelt which is just outside of Washington DC. I have been in the area for 15 years. I love traveling, and I also love hiking and studying nature. I enjoy meeting people from different places. I play the string bass, mostly country and bluegrass music.

I am looking for a comfortable, decent, and inexpensive place to stay, maybe with some recommendation for places to eat or to hike.

I like early country music and western swing. I also like Eastern European music, especially Balkan Brass. I like Barbara Kingsolver novels and other novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in the Peace Corps in Togo, in West Africa. I lived there for 2 years which was pretty amazing. I learned to speak french there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can spin poi with glow poi. I enjoy practicing outside when the weather is nice, and I can teach how to spin poi.
