I´m an ordinary girl from the Czech Republic. I´m fond of walking, running, Friends and Escape to the Country on the BBC website. Currently I´m working as a translator from English to Czech. During my downtime I enjoy looking after horses and walking our dogs. Besides that, reading is also my thing. My most beloved books are undoubtedly the ones by the vet from Yorkshire called James Herriot.
A couple of years ago I spent some time in Scottish Borders where I worked as an au-pair. I was completely blown away by its magnificent landscape and kindness of the locals. Unfortunately since then I haven´t had enough opportunities to go there again but frankly, I´m itching for going to the UK as early as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to plunge into travelling again and explore the stunning British countryside. I reckon than I´m quite an easygoing and friendly person so I shouldn´t be the pain in the neck for you :)
Another reason of mine is the fact that I want to brush up on my English speaking skills. I read and listen a lot but the element of the spoken language is the thing that I do miss.

Definitely Ed Sherran and any melody from Harry Potter´s films. There are plenty of books that I love e.g. again any Harry Potter´s books, All the Lights We Cannot See, It Shouldn´t Happen to a Vet or The Kite Runner
