About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Dance in the rain, live with enthusiasm, do my part to heal the world.

ABOUT ME

I am currently a student at Colorado College, studying environmental science. I am on the school track and cross country teams. During the school year I lifeguard at the Colorado College pool, and over the summer I work as a kayak trip counselor in the San Juan Islands (WA). I love to be outside, and be active. I run, cycle, and climb; I think there's something awesome about achieving things under your own power.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Watching the sun rise on top of Pike's Peak was amazing- a couple of my cross country teammates and I decided to hike the peak in time to watch the sunrise, so we started at midnight and hiked the 13 miles to the summit by headlamp, and got there at about six to watch a giant red sun slowly climb over the horizon, and then hiking back down.
2)Running up Waldo's canyon in the pouring rain, watching lightning strike across the valley. When I got to the top of the run, the rain stopped and the run down was amazing, with the sun drying my hair, and the trail full of puddles to splash in.
