I have been couch surfing here in PDX for two months. Debie and David will give you a reference.

Interests

Yoga, watching Fargo, reading memoirs, exploring the NW. Long term student of latin percussion, i have my eye on a pair of Giovanni congas. I started studying when I lived in PDX in 1989. Currently practicing with Doug Smith at Rhythm Studio.

Music, Movies, and Books

Recently saw NW Animation Fest at Hollywood Theater! Watching Fargo series and reading memoirs. Music, all things Cuban, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, black gospel music, country music from the fifties and early sixties.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I met Wavy Gravy at his house in Berkeley a couple years ago. I am the first to bring aquaponics to mainstream college horticulture programs. I played percussion with Graham Lear, former trap drummer for Santana.

Teach, Learn, Share

World travelers, people who have lived in the south or who have never left the northwest. I speak Spanish pretty fluently, so that's always fun. Musicians of course.
