About Me

this is the "Break Out" year, the year to start to "work to live" instead of "live to work"! To boldly go where Brian has never gone before! Across Canada in summer then follow the sun for the rest of the year.

I have based my life on honesty, hard work, and respect of others. I continue to work hard but each year or two I re-educate myself and branch off in new direction. This allows me to live and work in different parts of B.C. and Alberta and to experience different lifstyles, meeting and making new friends.

Be yourself,
Say what you feel,
Those that Matter don't mind,
Those that Mind don't matter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

No experience on couches belonging to people I don't know but I am looking forward to the experience! Lots of experience on friendly couches (thank heavens for the drinking/driving laws), and then I get to cook breaky for my hosts in the morning. Always carry fennel with you for those "mornings after".

Hiking, fishing, cruising Kitsilano in Vancouver with a friend and enjoying a beer and lunch. Hanging out with my Granddaughters in the Okanagan. And, being good friends with my Daughter and Son.

(Watched my son's arrival into the world! Hiked the Grand Canyon! Bungy Jumped!) it's only one thing if you put the brackets around it!

Teach, Learn, Share

Just about every person I have met has been able to teach me something - if I was open to learn. I in return just love to teach people how to BBQ salmon!
