About Me

Hi, I’m Bilbil. I was born and raised in Turkmenistan in a big family with nine siblings. Growing up in such a lively household was a huge advantage for me—I learned something from each of them.

I studied Chemistry in Turkmenistan, but I quickly realized it wasn’t for me. So, I decided to start over and studied midwifery in Turkey. Now, I’m married and always eager to learn new things. I don’t want to leave this world without experiencing as much as possible—meeting new people, exploring different places, and gaining knowledge.

I love life. I love laughing, dancing, and embracing every moment. And if there’s one good thing about having ADHD, it’s that I never run out of energy:)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Each person has their own unique background, mindset, dreams, and experiences. Meeting new people feels like discovering a whole new world. I find it really enjoyable to meet others, hear their interesting stories, learn from them, and share ideas.

Interests

I love playing chess and keeping up with all the latest chess news. Cooking is another passion of mine—I’m especially interested in world cuisine and enjoy experimenting with new dishes using whatever ingredients I have on hand.

Sometimes, I wake up with a sudden urge to learn something completely new. One day, I might decide to learn sewing, so I research, buy materials, and get started. Another time, I might take an online course on software development or even plan to start a podcast. But… I usually lose interest and move on to something else. Still, I end up learning a little bit about a lot of things!

I also enjoy walking, not just for exercise but as a way to reflect and think deeply about life. It’s my time to clear my mind and explore new ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to movies, music, and books, I’m more into the undiscovered stuff. Of course, I keep up with popular culture too, but I really enjoy finding hidden gems. I wouldn’t say I know much about music, but I’m definitely a cinephile.

Reading is a big passion for me, and I really appreciate people who read deeply—not just those who go for a few popular self-help books or the famous Russian classics. I’m especially into dystopian books, but I also love reading philosophy and psychology.
