About Me

Im a very spontaneous, funloving and easygoing person. I like to meet new people because we all are unique.

Ive realized over the years that my biggest hobby is to travel. I also like motorbikes, technical stuff and food (cooking and eating).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because i get to meet new people and share their homes. That gives you a lot of insight in a person that you would normally not get. Since we are all diffrent i always end up learning something. Also the fact that i dont have to pay for a hostel is very good.

Due to past experiences i also want to clarify that I'm not gay and thus not interested in hooking up with guys. No offence, im just saying this so there's no confusions later on.

I love travelling because i get to know different cultures and way of live of other persons. I think its really amazing how you can widen your horizons by travelling and understand more and more that there is nothing that is strange. Its just that we all have diffrent perception on things.

I have since i was a kid loved cars, technical stuff, motorbikes (the fast ones) and diving.

Also i very much enjoy trying new things that i havent done

  • dining
  • cooking
  • traveling
  • scuba diving

Music, Movies, and Books

AC/DC, Anthony Santos, Hector Acosta, Elvis Presley, Dread Mar I, Bob Marley. However I listen to pretty much everything as long as its not rap or hiphop.

I like movies that make you think or laugh for example: Shashank redemtion, Green mile, Machete, the gods must be crazy and so on

Red Shantaram recently and was very impressed by the book as well as the author

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since i worked a lot in optics I went on a volunteer trip with Vision for all. This is a organization that goes to poor communitys around the world in order to improve their live by giving them the gift of seeing. We do exams and give people that comes glasses so they can read or just see further then 5cm.

Its amazing when you see the gratitude in someone's ready to cry eyes for something that you have done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will gladly share my language knowledge because i know how hard it can be to find someone to practice with.

Started with yoga a while ago and can share the little i know.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I share everything. Sharing is caring!
I cook (liked it a lot more before when i was not trying to eliminate animalproduct from my diet), im handy and can fix most things, obviously i clean. And ofcourse i will share stories and experiences from travelling preferably over some beer
