About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Go to heaven.
ABOUT ME
I've traveled a bit but I guess I've become more of a home body lately, sitting on my front porch or back yard reading and drinking my home brewed beer, occasionally walking to the beach which is only two blocks away.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I enjoy showing people around Galveston so look forward to hosting surfers coming this way. I work for myself so I have the time if travelers want a guide.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted for years with a similar organization,SERVAS, but joined CS 11 years ago. I enjoy meeting travelers. When in high school I was the one that always volunteered to pick friends up at the airport.
Interests
I've slowed down a bit with my wood floor refinishing work. And without a steady work crew, I have fewer buddies to drink home brewed beer with after work so I've slowed down on the brewing as well. But Galveston has many brew pubs, coffee houses and off beat excellent restaurants for a town of 50K.
Music, Movies, and Books
Ever since 9/11 and President Bush drew a line in the sand separating the USA from the rest of the world, I barely read anything other then progressive news blogs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Awestruck may be too strong word to use for seeing what appeared to be an infinite size field of 10 foot tall sunflowers with blooms the size of a human head while traveling through France. Maybe the blue tinted, full moon night on the train traveling through the Alps between Paris and Venice fits the word better.
Countries I’ve Visited
Germany, Mexico, Portugal
Countries I’ve Lived In
