My couchsurfing experiences : I did it a lot in Vienna, Austria, a few years ago, but it somehow got lost when I deactivated / reactivated my account. I met a good friend who became my flatmate in Vienna and together we hosted quite a few couchsurfers from around the world, all of them super nice.
