Hi everyone,

My name is Linda, from France. I love travelling, trying new things, discovering new places, and people.

I am very much into sports, especially fitness. I have also played tennis and volleyball when I was younger.

I believe that interacting with people from different cultures, and learning from them is one of the most rewarding things.

As I am between places at the moment, I will not be able to host for now, but gladly will once I am settled.

I recently booked a last minute trip to Lisbon. I had never been there before, I don't speak portuguese at all, and did not know anyone there.

Of course I did some tourist stuff. Hey I was a tourist after all. One day, I got lost on my way back from Castelo dos Mouros. I asked these two American girls for directions. Happens that they were lost too! We then wandered through the colorful streets of Sintra having ice creams, shots of Ginja and Amarguinha, passing craftsmen, listening to an old man playing his instrument and sharing great laughs, hoping to find our destination. I ended up spending the rest of my trip with them !

The important is not the destination, but what you make of the journey.

By the way, it turns out my Airbnb host was amazing, and we went on a 8hours walk around the city just so that I could see the best spots !!

Anyway, I realized that my best experiences occured when I went to places I did not know anything about, and all by myself. So I am always up for a new adventure !
