About Me

When we need to study hard for college, i learned sports like how to run fast.
when we should find a job after graduation, i went to Tibet as a volunteer teacher.
when my classmates have a stable job, i became a assistant for a film producer.
when most friends get married, i quit job and began to travel alone over a year.

For my mom, i'm always a naughty girl who often do some thing strange. But after she started to join my trip and we spent 10 days in Thailand. Finally she thinks that I'm optimistic and happy , who wants to know more about our planet.

I start to do volunteering jobs at 17. During these past years, i have done many volunteer work, teaching in charity schools, helping with autism children, writing lecture articles for shanghai library, working in a non-profit hostel and guiding in wrestling game, music festival and film festival, etc. From these work, i learnt a lot much more than what i have given. I realized that although what we can do is little, we need to continue on it and everything you did has its own meaning.

Actually until now, i don't have a clear goal in my life, i have no idea what should be done or not, but i love and cherish my life and i believe that i'm on the way to find my goal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After quit my job from October, 2015, I have been travelling outside of China over half a year. I do really want to meet more local friends and learn different cultures. And my plan is keep traveling one more year, to be honest , i want to save money to see more places.

Australia will be the first country outside of Asia i’m going to visit. Since i have a work and holiday visa, it means that i can stay one year in this beautiful country. Im so exciting but also worried about it. i need your help and advise.

Interests

A huge fan of a american basketball team, Miami Heat!!! during my trip, i write some stories about people i met, especially children. Since my dad is a chef, i stayed a long time in kitchen when i was a kid and i love cooking foods!

Music, Movies, and Books

Different kind of music are fine for me, my favorite singer is Bobby Chen from Taiwan. His songs sounds like old stories told by a drunk man, but full of meaning of life.
I love lots of films, especailly Tom Hanks' old and classic movies.
The book I love best is The Little Prince which teach me to love and sacrifice. Also fond of a chinese novel named A Dream in Red Mansions, describes a tragedy of a rich family with lots of beautiful girls.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Four years ago, i knew mother teresa and want to visit MC one day. Half a year ago, i told my boss that i want quit my job because i will go to India. After two months travelling in india, I worked in mother house as a volunteer for two months, taking care of old people in the morning and playing with kids in the afternoon. At that time, I lived with a Muslim family, work in a christian organization in a Hindu country, and myself came from a Buddhism family. i do really appreciate these moments which teach me how to become a better person and learn to love.

Teach, Learn, Share

The best thing i can teach is my mother language-Chinese and i also can cook some dishes from China. I would like to learn different cultures and how to cook local food!!!
