I am a 37 year old female person working in a non-profit. I have an art practice. I like to travel and meet new people. Lately I have been into walking and other forms of outdoor exercise, and I'm liking all the fresh air.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am getting to know this community. I found it a few years ago when traveling abroad, but did not participate. This is new to me. I would love to be a tour guide/coffee/beer friend. I live near one of Portland's greatest bars for its expansive beer selection - The Horse Brass. I live with my dad at the moment so I can't offer up my couch, but I definitely will in the future. I also might be able to recommend friend's couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None that relate to the CS project, but recently I slept on someone's floor in an old warehouse converted into a studio in brooklyn. It was cold, loud and dusty, but I was very grateful nonetheless.

I can help you overcome a fear and I will be courageous with you. We can quit your job together or I will stand by you while you give a long speech about things you deem important in the public square. We can burst into song in the grocery store, or take an hour long walk together in total silence. I can show you what I know about imovie and canning jam. I have minimal sewing skills, and can help you set up a blog or dream up a new business plan.
