Make just enough to get by, save a little for future adventures, and experience the world
Never in my whole life did I imagine I´d be doing what I`m doing now. Dancing and school were always my major focuses...big plans to go through some kind of post-grad schooling and live the American dream of a 9-5, well-paying job, average sized home with a bit of a yard, the works...then come college I felt completely burnt out of school and just wanted to get out and experience life. I walked El Camino de Santiago after graduating, and during the pilgrimage I dumped off my original plans of finishing up training as a court reporter upon my return home and instead decided to come back to Spain after a few weeks back home. So, here I am in Barcelona...trying to get fluent in Spanish, meeting awesome new people, and basically living the poor college student´s dream (without the school part!).
Christian values, but open to and interested in other beliefs. I´d rather do something that may be outside of my comfort zone than not do it and potentially regret not doing it when I had the chance.
Being active, dance, outdoorsy stuff, languages, travel, food/baking...I´m going to have to come back to this...
Music, Movies, and Books
I think it´s easier to list what I am not interested in, so here´s a few:
Clockwork Orange--a little too out there for me
2001: A Space Odyssey--I´m not sure this one needs explaining
Rap music without much of a melody or good beat
Country--eh..I don´t mind it, but I won´t actively seek it out
Screamo--I like to hear people sing, not scream :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
El Camino de Santiago--everyone should do it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Herm..this is another one I´ll have to come back to. For now, I can say I can make roses out of chocolate and starbursts, and make a kick ass banana bread.
What would I like to learn? Almost anything..though right now I think it´d be particularly fun to learn hoop dancing or poi (started poi before, but kinda fell off the boat after shoulder dislocation)
