About Me

Probably won't host Americans unless you're coming to Philadelphia for a reason. Can't take another American in his underwear for hours on couch, stay home for that. Don't waste my time.

Offer a place for a traveler that is safe, comfy, cozy and clean close to Art Museum and Eastern State Penitentiary

FYI: Follow the spirit of couchsurfing. Don't use me as a place to crash and hook up during your stay. (Yes, this happened to me today) Feel free to want to explore by yourself but don't use my place as your own private whore house. I'll reject you last minute like I did today. Come on, its a pandemic man.

Interested in hosting one or two travelers at a time.

Make the most of life, too short. Honesty is best policy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Host when I can. Ironically I could host every night but not every guest is for every host. I thoroughly enjoy offering the "Philly Experience". I host without conditions except one; Be honest. I am amazed how much a surfer brings into my life for how little I do. I open my home, offer a clean, safe couch and in return I get to look into your life and culture. We share stories and a meal or two and most guests keep in contact. Believe me, you see a great city but I usually make a new friend from a far away place. I keep a guest book that some travelers write in and hope to keep adding countries heard from. Wanna add your country?

I enjoy history - especially Ben Franklin, museums, movies

  • history
  • history, movies, politics

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy horror, sci-fi movies, dramas and anything that would keep my interest. I must say though surfers pick great movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Met some great International travelers and been able to enhance their travels. Enjoyed learning about their culture. I learned Basque Country is going to be a new country. Being outside of your comfort zone can be adventurous and rewarding. I have not just hosted guests I have made some great new friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

I never stop learning and always willing to teach. We are really just one world not just a group of United States and "other" countries. I can meet someone at a bus I never met take them to my home and in three to four days day goodbye to a friend. 24 hours later text across the world and say hello; this is couch surfing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Every guest isn't for every host. Read profiles, see why the guest is traveling, check their interests and be selective. Enhancing my guests trip is my goal. I deny most requests for the benefit of my guests and becuase I'm usually already hosting. I respond to requests as soon as possible.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
