I am a local college student from New Jersey. I love to travel, I love to read, I love art, and I'm pretty open minded to learning anything new. I've been studying Mandarin for the past five years and I've even traveled to Taiwan to teach English! According to my roommate at Stevens, I'm very easy to live with. Besides learning new languages, my hobbies include biking and playing music!

I need a place to stay that is much cheaper than the dorming alternative at Rutgers University. Unfortunately, my family and I are unable to afford the high cost of dorming, so I'm looking for a cheaper alternative so I can still pursue my education.

兴趣

My current majors are Economics and Chinese, and I'm sure that says a whole lot! I love to learn new languages, I really think that that doing so helps one figure out so many new things about new worldviews, lifestyles, and cultures. Learning about languages has also made me interested in travel as well. I also love music, I'm always down to meet up with friends and have a little fun improvising. Other than that, I love to do anything outdoors whether its hiking, biking, or playing a sport.

I listen to almost any music, I have everything on my list from Bollywood music to Indie Rock to Rap to Country.
My favorite movies would have to be the Shawshank Redemption or the King's Speech, but I also like cute movies like Tangled.
My favorite books are either Game of Thrones or the Crucible.

One amazing thing I've done is travel to Taiwan for three weeks to teach English. I lived in five different locations and taught to over forty students! The host community, the students, and I learned so much from each other. My favorite part of the adventure was when one of my students handed me a picture she drew of our class. Its something I really treasure and still have to this day.
