About Me

Living on the road, from here to there. Walking, cycling, kayaking, hitch hiking, climbing...

I'm a french guy (22 years old) hesitating between school and travels.
I'm the 3rd of a 4 children's family (2 sisters and 1 brother) living in Reims, France.

I love music - listening and playing the piano - especially rock and roll from the 7O/80s but also other music styles.
I also love african music, from Mali, Senegal, Zimbabwe...
I've always been doing sport in my life - football, tennis, horse riding, cycling... so I like to move and not to stay there doing nothing for days.
Some people say I'm shy but I'd say I like to hear first my neighbors speaking and then discuss with them. Every subjects interest me, I'm very open minded and curious and I'd love to meet people from all over the world to think about how life is going on, how the world goes on, and stay filled with wonder about all the differences and also common points between me and another people.

I build my personal philosophy by trying to analyze what I see, to understand what I read or hear, even if I believe in fate and luck. (random ?)
I think we are all here on this planet for a good reason that must be detected and understood thanks to travels and people we met.
We all live in the same world even if there are many differences between countries, way of lives...

And I'm also deeply peaceful.

I admire Alexander Supertramp (Christopher McCandless)...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been hosted during a trip in Vancouver during summer 2013 and now I'm able to host you in my place! So don't hesitate!

I have been hosted by a great guy in Vancouver for a few nights and so far it's the only couchsurfing experience I had!

Reading, listening to music, doing sport, dreaming, speaking, teach and learn, sharing many things and try to know new things every day.
I also like to watch movies. Humor, action... all but horror movies

Music, Movies, and Books

Music : british rock from the 70 to 90s (Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, David Bowie, The Velvet Underground...), pianists (Einaudi, Chilly Gonzales...)
but also folk music (you should have a look at Sammy Decoster !!) and what I call "adventurer's music" such as Eddie Vedder, of course...
African music
Finally French pop music (French Touch) such as Air, Sébastien Tellier, Aaron... and all the other one.

Movies : my favourite movie is Into the Wild of course. I like humoristic movies (only when I understand jokes ahah)

Books : I fell in love with books a few months ago.. so I discover litterature and discover new authors every day. But I like Frederic Beigbeder, Michel houellebecq and Charles Bukowski. I like crazy artists :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't think I've been doing enough things to cite one amazing thing.
But the most amazing place I've been visiting in the sky. I've been skydiving a few months ago and I think it's amazing to see the place where we live from above!

The other one is a two month trip I made during summer 2013, in canada and USA.. awesome, by myself, loved it.

I've been doing the GR20 in Corsica in 9 days, in total autonomy, with a friend. Was great!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to learn things about nearly every subjects. Religion, music, jobs, new technologies, economy, sport, history, way of life...
I could teach what i know and you don't know. With pleasure, I'd accept to show you things I do often and you maybe ignore.
Finally share good moments, share travels, share experiences, share life moments, share friends, food...

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Morocco, Spain, Switzerland, United States
