Overview
About Me
I grew up abroad in Hong Kong, Austria and Oregon, and went to college at Whitworth University in Eastern Washington. I love traveling and meeting new people from different cultures.
Last year, I decided to take an opportunity to study in China, reigniting my passion to travel. Living abroad for an extended period of time is one of the most life changing experiences and it differs so much from regular tourism or traveling for a couple of weeks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get to know people from different cultures - when visiting a new country, who better to show you around than someone who lives there!
Interests
Travel, travel travel.
Meeting new people, experiencing new places and staying in touch with friends around the world. I'm also a lover of basketball, hiking and trying new foods.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Two hours north of Guilin, China, I visited a very remote village with my fiancé. Throughout our stay, we learned to live like the locals--making our own tofu, catching fish in the stream and foraging for wild edible plants. The locals were incredibly welcoming to foreign guests making for an unforgettable experience.
