Break away from the normal by travelling and living abroad as long as possible!
We have been born and bred in Adelaide, South Australia and love our country! We have been together for 4 years and will be getting married on December the 5th 2009 at which point we start our new journey by travelling for 6 months (or more!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Always welcome to show people around our great city and country wether your after a night out or a day at our beaches with a bbq, beer and a surf!
my favourite thing to do is to get out and explore - going on day trips, hiking & visiting new places with Ben (there is so much to see right here in South Australia that my mind boggles to think about how much we're missing out on overseas!), I also enjoy spending time with my family, watching a good movie or reading a good book & I love sharing a few drinks and some good food with friends
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies - Too many good movies...Anchorman, Dirty Dancing, Take The Lead, I love a good action movie as well (I'm into Jason Statham at the moment - Death Race & The Bank job are probably my favourites), I also enjoy most "crappy girly movies" as Ben would call them, my favourite at the moment is The Proposal
Music - I listen to pretty much anything - Top 40, 80's and 90's classics, Dance, Electro, R'n'B, etc.
Books - I love Harry Potter (yes I know I'm a nerd!), the Scarpetta Series by Patricia Cornwell & lately the Twilight series by Stephanie Meyer (I never thought I'd be into a book about vampires but I'm totally hooked!?! Mostly I read real estate, investing & self improvement books though - I love a good autobiography as well!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My 2 most memorable trips were: Travelling through the Canadian Rockies by train, the scenery was AMAZING, Canada is so beautiful & A Lacrosse trip I went on to Japan where we we're staying in a "rural" town (I even saw a couple of trees!) & we were billeted out with families. It was a great way to learn about & appreciate the culture by being a part of it. Japanese people are generally some of the kindest & most generous people I have ever met.
