About Me

TO ALL OPENMINDED CRAZY SWEET LITTLE PEOPLE: I'm Blerta Berisha, 21 years old and finished school 2016 in July. I was born in Eggenfelden, Germany, and grew up in Munich.
Now, I am studying, i want to become a teacher. I don't want it to be a regular job, i want to TEACH people. For that i have many many things to learn, many things to try, many people to meet.

My homeland is Kosovo and my mother language is albanian.

I have done a few crazy things in life, such as going from munich to venice by foot without shelter-stop (in april - it was fucking cold and i couldn't sleep at night). Or snuggling little kittens through the borders to germany and adopting them later on. I am young and curious, so i will use this opportunity as long as it lasts.
Couch Surfing fits perfectly fine with my plans, it is a cheap and simple way to meet many people and to develop myself through social interaction :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend recommended this page to me. Since I've decided to take my free time and travel I thought Couchsurfing might be useful. It saves money, you can meet many new people and make new (and maybe crazy) experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have any specific liking regarding music, I enjoy all sorts of songs. I also like soundtracks from good movies. Mostly, I watch animated movies from Disney, Dreamworks, etc. (favourite: Pirates of the Caribbean with my beloved darling Johnny Depp!)
When I was younger, I read well-known book series, such as 'Twilight' or 'Hunger Games'. But now I'm only interested in books which have a lot of serious themes in them, such as terrorism nowadays, climate change, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was volunteering in Rumania, caring for strays and playing with them. One day somebody dropped a box with two little kitties near the dog shelter and one of the volunteers showed us the box. Nobody wanted to adopt them so I spontaneously took them with me in my apartment where i fell in love with those two as i was feeding them and cuddling with them.
Sadly they were too young to take to germany (as they could not have been vaccinated, and they would get noticed by other people in the bus), so i called a friend who drove with her boyfriend 17 hours to rumania, just to snuggle my little babies through the borders together with me.

Today, i live with a few students in an apartment and with my two little tigers (my mother hated cats so i moved out lol).
This was one of the best experiences ever!!
