I'm easy going, sarcastic, open minded and adventurous. I love music, photography, travelling (and meeting travellers), drinking tea and eating (ethnic) food.

I organise concerts for a living and I’m a certified tea sommelier.

I try to travel as much as possible in between all jobs. I managed to visit 62 countries so far.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm not looking for a free hotel when I'm travelling. When surfing with people it's always about the interaction. If I don't have time to engage when travelling, I'd rather book a hotel room.

In the same mind, I'm not taking any guests who are just looking for a cheap place to spend the night. Unfortunately I also cannot take any last minute guests, since my life is pretty hectic already (I don't have a 9-5 job) and I need to free my schedule a bit.

But open minded people who want to stay for a couple of nights are more than welcome!

* Spotting the last Irrawaddy river dolphins in the Mekong River in the south of Laos. 🇱🇦
* Visiting the insanely beautiful temple complex of Bagan in Burma. 🇲🇲
* Peeing in the Atlantic Ocean on Coney Island, New York on a freezing (-20° C) winter day. 🇺🇸
* Trying all of the street food stalls in Bangkok, Thailand. 🇹🇭
* Hiking in the High Atlas in Morocco. 🇲🇦
* Fishing from a tiny boat on a beautiful mountain lake in Nepal. 🇳🇵
* Driving from Tabriz, Iran to Yerevan, Armenia and looking at some of the most beautiful landscapes I've ever seen. 🇦🇲
* Visiting the real grave of Jesus Christ in Srinagar, Kashmir. Seems like the fella didn't die on the cross after all. 🇮🇳
* Participating in Japanese and Chinese tea ceremonies. 🇨🇳
* Doing a 6000 km roadtrip through Turkey during the corona-pandemic. 🇹🇷
* Making a roadtrip through Ukraine a few weeks before things went seriously wrong. 🇺🇦
* Eat the world’s best ice cream on the world’s most beautiful square (Naqsh-e Jahan) in Esfahan 🇮🇷
