About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To discover if England really rocks (like in The boat that rocked)

ABOUT ME

I'm a 20 year old french girl, who's currently teaching (well, trying...) french to cute children in primary schools. I'm living in Gillingham, a lovely (it's a joke) place in Medway. Actually, Medway doesn't really rock, but I'm not disappointed by my 8 months experience in England thanks to places like Bristol ("THE place to be"), London of course, and all my young student who love thinking all the french people love eating frogs and snails!
When I'll come back in France at the end of May, I'll carry on my studies in communication in Bordeaux, capital of wine in the world and my favourite place (I'm sure you understand why).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've already tried CS once, with a friend in London. It was a really nice experience (a bit adventurous to be honest) and that's why I wan't to try the experience again. When I'll have my own flat in France, I won't only be a surfer, I'll be a host too!!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Okay, so now let's talk about my 1st CS experience, and why it was a bit adventurous... Actually, we went in a very nice boy's flat in London, next to Camden Town. The only problem was there were no really space for us to sleep, excepted a small couch (I know, this is the principle of CS), where our host was supposed to sleep. But he told us he never sleeps on it, only on the floor cause he's to drunk each time he's going out, so it doesn't relly matter where he's sleeping. In the morning, we woke up to visit London and left our luggages in the flat (the day before, we've asked to our charming host if it was possible to leave them during the day, and take them back at 6.00pm. Answer: not a problem, I'll be there!!!), but when we came back at 6.00, the flat was empty. We've waited one hour, trying to phone him each 5 min (no answers, of course), so the only solution was to enter in the flat by the neighbours' door. Nice!
