I love the outdoors, reading, exploring, meeting new people, talking about art, politics, history and more. I enjoy sunshine and smiles and am willing to try just about anything once. A lot of my work deals with social justice issues and I appreciate the company of folks who also think about the ways that our intersecting identities bring us together to explore our unique experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love soul, funk, rock, hiphop, jazz, classical. I enjoy both fiction and nonfiction. I am passionate about space, space travel, science history and technology and appreciate reading both popular science and science-fiction.

I teach teachers for a living, I love to learn about all kinds of things, especially science, history and religion and I am always happy to cook or if I haven't cooked, to clean up afterward!
