About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To give Statistics a better name, like Zachary. Failing that, to laugh once a day in life.
ABOUT ME
I'm a 25 year old British PhD student who usually feels a lot older than what he actually he is, an old soul as they say.
Well-mannered, slightly quiet British Born Chinese. Can open up completely over time and around the right groups of people. Be warned I have a tendency to over apologise and say thank you when not even necessary. Plus I put my self down quite a bit and don't take compliments very well; I come out in a rash usually...(joke)
Eager to meet new people on my new couchsurfing misadventures.
PHILOSOPHY
As my Sims family have taught me...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Fairly flexible, ideally some entertaining via coffee, accompaniment during some activities would be good.
Travelling alone has its downsides occasionally...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Second time on CS; first time wasn't quite as expected but have decided to lower my expectations somewhat. Hopefully I'll get the bug.
Interests
I'm quite into music as I play the piano and oboe.
I have a pretty extensive knowledge of TV, particular obscure TV shows. However, I do like comedy quite a bit with my DVD collection consisting of 30 Rock and Arrested Development to name a few.
Other things I like (or think I like) include: food (cooking, eating), reading, badminton, cycling. Just talking about silly things late into the night.
Dislikes: Getting drunk (any sort of copious amount of drinking), going out to nightclubs to name but a few.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Not horror.
Music: No music associated with urban. Nothing wrong with a good old cheesy song. A bit of an expert on Ms. Kylie Minogue.
Pretty eclectic tastes though ranging from pop to film scores. I also have a theory in cheesy pop music and the different grades of it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Shlomo live...all by chance as well.
Teach, Learn, Share
Statisticians can be quite creative you know...
