About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Expolring the world meeting wonderful people

ABOUT ME

I'm a happily married 40 guy with an amazing wife (Elizabeth) and a wonderful 5 yo boy (Xavier).
I'm an executive with a great company in the Bay Area, I grew up in Maine, went to high school in NH and college in CT, have lived in NYC, Philly, London, Milan & Seattle and now have been in CA now for 7 years

PHILOSOPHY

To be the best I can, live by example for my family and to treat everyone with the utmost respect the always deserve.

"If you want to build a ship, don't drum up people to collect wood and don't assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just starting here but thinking of opening up one of the bedrooms in our home for stays though we are in the burbs. And I'll be looking to stay more within the community on my upcoming trips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have not since my college days that were great and looking forward to the experience again

Interests

So many but to name a few; wine & beer, everything about it from tasting, collecting to making. Just starting help out in a small winery to learn more.
Music especially live, play the piano and guitar myself. Sports; a huge RedSox and Bruins fan, it's been a great run for Boston the last 10 years!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Wow this could go on and on but let's; Movies action and dramas. music as I mention leans towards classical but I'm a big fan of Pearl Jam & Pink Martini. Books, where I spend much free time; currently rereading "Man's search for meaning"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've attended Burning Man and sat in beans to cool down from the heat, drove across the US and stopped and all interesting landmarks (like the worlds largest frying pan), skydived and traveled through Russia.

Teach, Learn, Share

Those from background and cultures different than mine, anyone! I learn and take away something from everyone I meet
