About Me

=> What I hate about me? I'm allergic to cats, cigarettes and mustiness. I also hate the fact that I can't detach myself from breathing, eating and drinking water (I'd like to be more independent). :(

=> So, Leo... hitchhiker? One day, after my graduation, I decided to give up my stable job as a Systems Analyst and my stable life living surrounded by old friends and comfort at the capital of the state of Minas Gerais to get my ass back to the road. I just left all behind and hit the road hitchhiking again. :P

=> A bit more about me I'm an extremely open minded person, I also LIKE to get to know people's different "worlds" and it doesn't matter how bizare or scarrying they might sound to others. I can be a bit shy sometimes, what really surprises a lot of people who see videos of mine hitchhiking and getting into strangers cars - I'm a bit affraid of bothering others sometimes, or of talking too much (and I also might talk too much sometimes trying to hide that I am actually feeling a bit shy, lol). I often feel myself a bit awkward near people that I don't know very well, like as if I'm an uninvited, but I know that most of the times it's just my mind. If you're a welcoming person (or try to be) that's more unlikely to happen! And I am generally a very welcoming person myself. Another thing about me is that except for those who already got into my 'friend-zone', I tend to hide that I don't like some stuff - probably because I'm trying to don't sound like "picky" or anything like that in our first talks, but this is actually bad only to myself. Maybe I'm sounding a bit too complex but I'm not really like that, you may read the references left by people that I've met in lots of different situations further down in this page :)

=> Had hitchhiked so far:

- South America (the whole east coast, besides crossing it from the Atlantic coast to the Pacific coast) + Uruguay + Argentina + Chile + Peru + Brazil (all the south and southeast states, besides many states of the north and northeast)

- Europe + Belgium + Denmark + France + Germany + Spain + The Netherlands + Sweden (frustrated attempt though)

One Amazing Thing I've Done

travelled across many places and countries.. hitchhiking. I also tried to get a ride in on top of a train in Brazil, but it didn't work that day as the train never passed. That was when I took the photo below, but I kept it in mind and it's something I'm still gonna try again one day.
