I am from Idaho and spent seven years in the Army before moving back home, going to university, and becoming a Fireman. Rachel is from the east coast of the USA and also lived in Germany as a pre-teen.
We have been married about twenty years and are always looking for new friends. Rachel is a professional seamstress and together we own an eclectic business that sells industrial sewing machines, leather working tools and supplies, as well as wine, cheese and beer making equipment and ingredients.
Food wise I truly enjoy most ethnic foods and am good at making Persian, Indian and of course Mexican dishes. My beer speciality is in Old World Styles e.g. stouts, ales, bock, pilsner, weizen, alt etc.. I tend to shy away from the overly hoppy new style American beers.
A new update to our family is that we now have three lovely young girls living with us, their ages are three, four and eight so this complicates thins a bit as we get used to having children for the first time.

We love to travel and meet new people but our new business has taken up allot of our travel time.
Maybe this way we get to meet some like minded new friends and pay it forward for when we get a chance to travel again in the next year or two.
