getting work experience
I am a rather simple person. I don't like things getting complicated, and I really enjoy small things. I really like what I'm doing, so my priority is my job, but in my free time I enjoy meeting new people and exchanging the point of view. I feel good among international people, but I still prefer meeting in small groups than huge parties.I like listening to the stories of life of other people.
It changes according to where I am and what kind of people I'm surrounded with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to make some friends through couch surfing, it actually works out :)
Not really, I'm kinda new here.
skiing, sailing, biking, reading, foreign languages
I never sailed on the sea, but I was sailing every summer on the lakes in the north of Poland, it's amazing. I also have my sailor's licence.
I'm a qiute good skiing teacher although I don't have the official instructor papers :)
I like spending time outside the city, back home I have a house in the countryside, next to the national park, and my house is something I love most.
Music, Movies, and Books
Most of the things I like are Polish, since I really like the language.
I like crime books, especially Agatha Christie and a Polish writer Joanna Chmielewska.
I love fantasy books.
Music: I like old Polish music, but I'm always open to new things. And I like sea shanties.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I got lost in Chicago having absolutely no money and no credits on my phone.
I sailed on Mazury lakes during a storm, when it was forbidden to sail (ok, that was more stupid than amazing)
I went to New York completely alone when I was 20.
I went to Paris alone as well to look for a job, being a bit older, but not speaking French.
I traveled by bus from Vienna to Italy, also alone, with a twisted leg (not that much fun)
I took a Greyhound bus from Tennessee to Chicago- was a better adventure than Polish trains.
I made an internship in consrevating monuments in Ukraine-unforgettable.
When I was living in Poland, every summer I was watching Volleyball World League live in Katowice-amazing, whene everyone is dressed red and white, singing the Polish national anthem.
I went to Tall Ships Races in Swinoujscie in 2007 (11 h by Polish train)
These are small things, but as I said, for me small things are more amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to meet French speaking people, to be able to practice my French. Or any people that speak the languages that I speak, it's one of my hobbies-learning new things about foreign languages.
I can teach you skiing or tell you everything about Poland, if you were interested :) I'm crazy about Polish traditions, so I like cooking traditional food and celebrating some national holidays.
