About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Wondering what I'm see and do next

ABOUT ME

Thanks for stopping by and taking a minute to get to know me.

My name is Tim and I'm currently traveling South America and have been to Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. I'm living in Buenos Aires doing something I love.

I've been traveling all my life and have been to many countries. I was born in Austin, Texas and lived there till I was 12 then moved to Taiwan for 6 years. Moving to Taiwan was horrible at first but from there I saw many other countries and my love for traveling soon blossomed.

After college, I realized that small town USA wasn't for me. There's so much more out there. I want to see the pyramids of Egypt, drink the smoothest Burgundy in France and party with more random pop stars (one Malaysian pop star and one Colombian ballad singer).

PHILOSOPHY

I don't know if I have a personal philosophy. I mean I can give you a million different quotes about living life and blahblah. I guess I'm more of a "Ok. Why not?" type of guy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Anything really.

Music: Just about anything. I like listening to Jazz surrounded by cool people.

Books: I'm a self help nerd. My bookshelf has all the greats: Tony Robbins, Eckhart Tolle, Stephen Covey, etc. I use to read a ton of Stephen King when I was younger but nowadays I find myself not reading as much fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching myself graduate college was pretty epic and so was bribing a cop.

Teach, Learn, Share

Going through the Ecuador/Peru border sucks. Be careful of fast talking taxi drivers who grab your bag and won't give you a minute to collect yourself.

Also, we wary of exchanging money with guys on the street. I lost $70 this way and the money was comically bad.
