Simply to meet people, see new places and have fun
People say- I'm so laid back I'm horizontal- which could mean I'm lazy- but I just think life's too short to worry about stuff (too much)
I love culture, socialising, experiencing everything life has to offer. There's things out there that never fail to amaze me. I hope to keep experiencing such 'things'
I currently work to make ends meet, but I'm striving to find the right career path.
I love music and the scene as a whole and I play drums in a band, DJ and go to gigs regularly- everything from classical, jazz, metal and of course rock.
I'm a real foodie and a big part of experiencing new cultures is indulging in local and trditional cuisine. I love to cook for friends and family. This is an important part interacting with people and communicating who I am as a person.
I like to believe in karma. Be good to people and they will be good to you.... I hope
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It all starts with communication.
I'm new to this- but please do contact me so I can share some of my knowledge, advice, and hopitality.
I hope to travel to new places all over the world intermittently, starting in Europe, so apologies to those I pick on to ask for advice or assistance with this.
Other than the few bits of correspondence online.. none as yet. Hopefully that'll change soon...
Music- currently listening to a lot of Blues, French House, and Metal
Film- anything inspiring, beautiful, arty or intense
Food- I love the social occassion of eating together, and how food reflects the traditions and heritage of an area or a family.
Culture- I appreciate most artforms as long as they provoke thought and convey a message, be that in an deep and meaningful abstract or subversive way, or in the mainstream commercial sense (clever advertising, graphic design or pop-art)
- graphic design
