ABOUT ME

I am actually quite the introvert, but I don't let that stop me from getting out and exploring new places!

I currently live in my car, hence the reason I do not have a couch to share at the moment. It's quite the new adventure already!

I love to be outdoors, but mostly when it involves warm sun, hot sand, and tropical waters. I lived in Hawaii for a couple years, and I plan on getting back there at some point!

PHILOSOPHY

Personal philosophy, huh? Well, I don't regret anything I've ever done in life, because even though my life is far from easy or perfect, it's mine, and I made a lot of stupid decisions to get where I am now. Which leads me to another point, mistakes are worth making if you learn from them. :) I have learned a lot!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking for couches in nearby cities if I have to travel for work and decide I would like to stay a couple extra days at my own expense. I am super courteous and one of those people who treats other people's things as if they were my own. Long story short, you have my respect and trust as long as we share those same ideals. I think it works. :)

Interests

Reading, travel, inline skating, volleyball, snorkeling, hiking, driving, painting, singing, making people laugh (although I have to warm up a bit around people I don't know, so I may come off as boring at first). I love cats. I like dogs. Random pets are cool too as long as you don't have pet wasps. I will freak out if they get in my face. Ummm... other interests... being with family (for reasonable amounts of time), laughing with friends, acting like a kid every now and again. I'm sure there are plenty more, but I don't want to put you to sleep.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies :Tomb Raider movies (I wouldn't mind being Lara for a day) and any power chick film really, Somewhere In Time, Bedazzled, Smokin Aces, Pearl Harbor, Dumb and Dumber. My taste is quite eclectic.
Music: I listen to most everything. Not all. Just because I am from Texas does not mean I listen to country. Old country sometimes. If I am at a bar or a gathering with country music that's fine. Otherwise it's Moby, Chevelle, Seether, Heart, Led Zepplin, The Eagles, David Bowie, The Cranberries, The Crystal Method, Tchaikovsky, just to name some of the randoms.
Books: Anything Stephen King, except for From a Buick 8. Terrible! Ugh! Just awful! I love Gregory McGuire too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived on Kauai for a year and Oahu for another year, and I will live there again!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am full of random information. I know a bit about electrical systems and wiring, and I have been told I am a pretty good cook, so I can definitely share some easy and tasty "recipes". It's "a lot" and definitely. Just sharing a couple of pet peeves. :D
