About Me

Trying to work things out and smile more :)

Hi everyone!
My name's Bosco and I live in sunny Sydney, Australia. I work full-time in Finance during the week and love hanging out on the weekends meeting friendly new people. The world is a pretty special place - it's amazing we can co-exist with so many different languages and cultures so my mantra is always to give back a little of what I have.

I love travelling! Small trips, long trips, day trips, road trips, hikes & cruises, trains, treks - you name it and I'm up for it :)

I think one of the most fantastic things about travelling is the simple act of movement. I can't really explain why it makes me so happy but sometimes the fact that I'm going somewhere just makes me incredibly joyous.

On a less philosophical note I do enjoy having a crack at foreign languages, trying my hand at cooking and the odd hike here and there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In August 2012 I decided to embark on a solo backpacking trip through Europe, starting in Essen, Germany. I didn't have a concrete itinerary or plan in mind but I knew I wanted to explore somewhere in the general direction of Southern Europe and I had to be back in Berlin by September so I let myself go with the flow and let the trip unfold at its own pace. It was amazing! I met so many other like-minded people, who were so open and friendly. It was great to travel spontaneously on a gut feeling and not be inhibited by any restrictions.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook so I can offer to show you how to whip up a few Chinese dishes if you'd like.

I also love learning foreign languages and can help you with your German, English & Cantonese and maybe you could teach me a few words in your mother tongue :)
