ABOUT ME

I'm a girl from singapore that came to england to do my undergraduate degree. I wanted to have a different university experience from my friends by coming to a totally new environment with different culture so as to increase my knowledge and expose myself to more things, and thus I've fulfilled two of my biggest dreams in life so far - to study law in england. Right now, my one other dream is to travel to more places while I'm here as it is very accessible to different parts of UK and EU ~ I'm a more nature and scenery person than a shopping/clubbing person and one of my favourite subject in school was geography. The world is just too amazing in comparison to us humans, so I really want to make my life worthwhile. Basically why i choose couch surfing is because I think it would be a really great yet really different experience making new friends and interacting with them while exchanging our different lifestyles! And also, frankly, as a student, I would like to travel on a budget, and I'm sure many students out there would understand. Hence, I really look forward to meeting anyone who would host me or show me around the cities I'll be visiting and also in the future when I get my own apartment, to reciprocate this favour to benefit a larger audience ^^

Right now i'm still living in college and am unable to offer couches as there's non available but next year when I move into my own flat, i'll definitely host people in Durham as well as back in Singapore when I return during my holidays/after my studies/or whenever I'm in Singapore :D

Interests

I love geography a lot, hence it explains my interest and passion in travelling.
I enjoy doing other stuffs like reading and writing the most, and also sometimes dancing! Generally I'm very outgoing and enjoy making friends & meeting new people :) Also, I can be quite lame (or funny in a nicer term) and would love to meet people who are extremely humorous too ~ what's life without a little laugh here and there right?

Music, Movies, and Books

Not surprisingly, Harry Potter definitely made it to the top. Also, I really enjoyed Dan Brown's series. I love his books so much, like Angels & Demons, The Da Vinci Code and The Lost Symbol - famous 3 books.

I'm not really a movie person I guess, but I enjoy actions/thrillers/horror/also gross sometimes.. (like final destinations - they're my favourite HAHA)....

I listen to a variety of music and don't really have any fixed artists that I particularly fancy. I'm more of a song person, so I'll just listen to any artist as long as the song is catchy and nice.
