About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Get out!

ABOUT ME

I am shockingly, impressively unique; you've never met someone as interesting as me. I am just positively rolling in unique life experiences.

Allow me to illustrate: I am medium height, medium build. I'm white with brown hair, AND - get this - I grew up in a suburb of a major American city. Oh, but it doesn't stop there. No no, my friend, I also attended a public high school in a charming neighborhood (!).

I have a dog. I have a cat! I have one brother and one sister! I have two loving parents! We live in a comfortable house! I have a car! A cellphone!

That's right folks, I've got it all.

For the love of god, help me.

PHILOSOPHY

Future-oriented hedonistic existentialism, with a hearty splash of individualism: I enjoy the present, but I always make sure that the future will be even better; I wouldn't want someone else to judge me, so I try not to judge others, but I don't always get that one right.

Here we are on a giant rock, spinning too fast, we should at least try to have some fun. 70 years really isn't enough time to waste taking yourself seriously.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not enough.

Teach, Learn, Share

First off, let me say that this is just about the best idea I have ever seen. Now that that's out of the way:

Things I can teach:
-Fitness. I have extensive training and experience in kettlebell lifting, weight training, barefoot running and biofeedback testing. I have worked as a personal trainer and swim teacher.
-English. I am (obviously) a native speaker, and english has always been my strong suit. I can provide pointers on grammar, writing style etc.

Things I want to learn:
-Spanish. I have taken classes in school, but I can't escape the feeling that they are irrelevant and inadequate; learning Spanish (for real) strikes me as a very valuable and world-expanding skill.
-Foreign cultures. I want to learn as much as I can about cultures all around the world.
-Anything you're willing to teach me.
