ABOUT ME

I majored in International Development Studies at UCLA and minored in Film and TV and Poli Sci. I plan on traveling the world as a photographer/model/filmmaker, stopping wherever it is that inspires me. I have plans to make documentary films, and at the moment I am currently looking for a story that must be told. I am very laid back and like to have a good time with people from all over the world. I am looking to learn Italian or French...or improve my Portuguese or Spanish.

PHILOSOPHY

Hard question... I am a very open minded individual that wishes to get away from the small town mentality of where I grew up that the world revolves around us. By "us" I am refferring to Americans in general.

My parents want me to get an office job and climb the latter, and I am out to prove that this is not the only way to acheive success and happiness. I feel that couch surfing will give me the opportunity to see the real world, not just the "real Orange County" and I feel it will make me a better person by taking this leap and doing something that most people in my area would consider to be outrageous.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this, so I am not sure how I will participate at the moment. I am looking to meet people in NY at first to develop a friend base on here (so people know I am not a serial killer) and then soon travel throughout Europe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am currently sitting on a friends couch in NYC. I booked a last minute ticket out to NY for fashion week, and am loving every minute of it. In order to not overstay my welcome, I have been cleaning their apartment and getting them into some of the greatest NY parties with open bars and celebs everywhere (not that I am really into this, but it is fun). So I try to be very respectful to those willing to lend a couch because I understand that it can be an inconvienence to some people (especially in small apts in NY).

Interessi

Water polo, swimming, golf, drinking beers from all over the world, the occasional club, beach days, warm weather, photography, and anything that inspires me to be a better person. Oh yes, and the ENVIRONMENT. I am very involved in the expansion of renewable energy/alternative energy. Getting Americans to change the way we consume is a huge goal of mine.
