About Me

I'm not good at describing myself, so here's some random adjectives I read in the New York Times: Easygoing, Adroit, Perceptive, Open-minded, Pragmatic, Irreverent.

I don't take myself too seriously. Life is even better when you can appreciate the humor in it.

I love meeting new people and exploring new places. Both of which can really open your understanding and your perspectives. Trying anything new or being a guide to walk someone through a new experience is always great.

My experiences have led me to understand and respect all different points of views. I also love conversations about philosophy and intellectual conversations in general.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to explore new places and meet new people. Exploring a city is always better with guidance of someone local. I prefer to explore different communities and foods rather than visit tourist destinations. I love learning about those with different life experiences.

Also, food. Love trying the local spots and locals probably know best.

Music, Movies, and Books

I generally love anything cerebral. I'm a huge movie buff so I can definitely increase your netflix queue by 10 based on your interests.

On the day I wrote this:

My playlist included BORNS, Erik Satie Loyle Carner, Nujabes, The Weeknd, Wax Tailor, Milky Chance, and Kendrick Lamar.

I had recently watched and enjoyed Stranger Things, Defiance, The Kingsman, and Room.

I was reading Heart of Darkness, Web of Violence, Sandman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Successfully saved a 4 kittens during a hurricane with only minor injury!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to teach/share anything about my field in general,my research, personal experiences, or anything else I can offer.

I love the work I do to help children and families, especially those exposed to stressful life events/poverty and i'm always willing to answer any questions about it.

I'm always willing to learn from others especially those with different life experiences. I might be able to introduce you to new foods if you can do the same!

What I Can Share with Hosts

South African Biltong. Sense of humor, curiosity, and my time.

Also always willing have a game night or dinner night.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bahamas, Canada, Dominican Republic, Spain, Turkey
