About Me

Leave this place better than I found it.

I'm an extremely laid-back person and easy to get along with. I also consider myself to be respective and considerate. Some would also say that I'm kind of all over the place with my hobbies and interests, I really like to delve into everything at least a little bit. People would probably also describe me as having trouble staying still and I'm always looking to see or do something new.

Be a good person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've just begun this journey into Couch Surfing; but to me the concept makes so much sense and seems like an amazing idea - I hope to be able to give more back to the community than I take.

All of the couch surfing I have done has mainly been with friends, colleagues and relatives. Hopefully this will change that :)

I really enjoy anything that has to do with the outdoors - running, kayaking, camping, bonfires, photography, the list goes on. My love of travel goes hand in hand with that, I love to explore new places, new cuisines and new cultures, and of course meet new people along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's too hard to pick a few moments but some highlights:

Zion Nat'l Park - Angel's Landing, for those who are unfamiliar Angels Landing is a point in Zion Canyon National Park that is about 1 mile above the surrounding canyon. Once you get to the upper spine of the trail, it becomes not more than a few feet wide, with 1 mile cliff drop-offs to either side and starts to take a steep incline. An extremely memorable experience and an extremely memorable view.

Becoming a (funded) medical device entrepreneur - Making the decision to start up a medical device company has lead to a roller-coaster type of lifestyle. The year has been filled with great successes as well as devastating failures, but has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever decided to do, and I couldn't imagine anything else that would make me happier.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belize, China, Honduras, Mexico, Viet Nam
