ABOUT ME

Hey everybody,

Brandon and Jess here. We met a while back while making our own seperate ways around Europe backpacking.
We never knew each other before traveling, but somehow seemed to keep turing up at the same places..we like to claim Berlin as the place where it all started for us. The American / Aussie combo make us a bit of a different couple. We certainly have a lot of differenet experineces, ideas and language barriers to overcome! We both love to meet new people and hear all others lives and travels.

We both have passion for Traveling, and are doing just that. Only stopping to work long enough till' we can get back on the road again. We both have a whole bucket list of places we are still wanting go, as well as what we have done already.

We are currently on an Epic world trip. Woohoo!! Starting in Feb 2012 we are starting in New York then onto Miami to cruise to Bahamas, Porta Rico, Grand Turks, and Virgin Islands. When we get back we are renting a car and setting of across the country to Key West, New Orleans for Mardi Gras, San Antonio, Memphis, St Louis, Denver, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, San Fran, Monteray, San Diego, LA.

We will then be leaving the big old US and catching a flight to Fiji for some Pacific sun and then onward to Aussie land. Lots of beach time and cross coutry camping time in Oz. We will knock the states of Victoria, South Aust, Western Aust and New south Wales off the list before jetting off again to Singapore.

After a little hit of asia it'll be time for a long flight to Egypt and Jordan via Saudi Arabia. From the pyramids we will head onto Athens were the ferries will take us to Ios, Santorini, Rhodes. After island hopping its onwards to Turkey,Bulgaria,Serbia,Kosovo, Bosnia, Croatia, Hungary, Slavakia, Poland... (and wherever the raod takes us!)

We are ending our trip in the land of the spainards to take part in La Tomatoina ( tomato fighting festival!) Messy..........

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've never had the chance to host anybody, mainly since we've already been on the road for over a year now. We will definately participate to whatever levels of socialising, fun, and what ever tickles your fancy as we make our way around this big ol' world. We do plan to settle the travelling for a bit, and may very well have a nice pad in aussie in the not too distant future if you care to visit.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Brandon has the couch expereince. Everyplace stayed has been great, and every one of them has their own stories. Jess is new to the world of couch surfing, having only surfed the hostel circut... am loking forward to some new, more local experiences.

Interests

The backpacking goal is rather simple,... to CONQUER THE WORLD!!!...ha.ha.ha .. and see every place from the north pole to the south pole. We're not big into clubs but gladly share a drink or two when the pub bekons. We like to get out and about, and do the things most tourists will never get to see.

Music, Movies, and Books

Brandon can't tell a lie, or hide this one, but it was the movie "the beach" that got him wanting to travel. Jess has a slight obsession with books of the lonely planent kind...have a version or two that is starting to look a bit battered.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Brandon has done time in the US army, did artillery, infantry and deck hand on a boat. He's scuba cert, street raced, cliff dive in greece, been mugged in czech, hich hicked threw greece and bulagria, christmas is london ,new years in Amsterdam and so much more....
Jess.. likes adventure.. but maybe not quite the extent of scary stuff that Brandon claims. Loves it when you finally reach a destination youve been striving for..

Bradons a bit of a jack of all trades but master of none... from car problems to cooking... and being jess' personal travel assistant! Jess is a caring sharing person and loves a chat about whatever the topic in question..
