ABOUT ME

Although I am from the States, I had an unusual childhood in Thailand, the Serengeti/Nairobi, Kenya, the Philippines, and China. Since then, I have been living away from the States since 2007 traveling throughout Asia, Australia and Europe.

I need a spare couch for now but I plan on participating as a host down the road when I am more financially stable and have a place of my own.

I love to take part in anything outdoors; hiking, biking, rock climbing, camping, snowboarding, mountain climbing (I have climbed many mountains), sailing and kite boarding.
I would like to start my own business to be self employed and escape the "rat race." I am also very entrepreneurial.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot. Mostly fiction and fantasy but since I have been in Europe I am fascinated with the complexities of European history. There are also fascinating economic and political movements happening right now within the US and global economy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked on a commercial fishing boat in the East Timor sea. I met some local Indonesian kids on Gilly T. island north of Lombok. They brought me back to their little village and invited me to stay with them for a while and teach English.
