Overview
About Me
I'm a polite, outgoing and intelligent person who loves nature and the outdoors. I recently graduated from Algonquin College and I'm looking forward to getting back to the real world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'll be conducting research in Wasaga Beach Provincial Park from June-October. I'm fresh out of school and my pocket book is rather thin. I'm trying to save as much money as I can so the longer I can go without renting my own place the better. I'm a minimalist anyway, I spent last summer living in the ontario backcountry out of my tent when I was conducting turtle research. In all honesty it's not even a couch I need, just a place to pitch my tent is good for me :)
Although a host who is willing to let me use the kitchen in the morning to prepare food in the morning is a added bonus.

Music, Movies, and Books
Favorite band is Tool but I have a very diverse taste in music. I listen to everything from everything from Beach Boys to Deathmetal, even classical and jazz.
I tend to read more non-fiction, but my favorite novel is probably Crooked Little Vein by Warren Ellis.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once patiently stalked my way into a heard of elk during the rut. It took me hours to get in close but eventually I was within ten feet of large stags looking antlers. I had to remove my telephoto lens and switch to my portrait lens.
Countries I’ve Visited
Cuba, Mexico, United States
