About Me

I want to experience Japan! Simple as that.

A bit shy in crowds, but friendly nonetheless. I like to have fun and be a bit adventurous, but am also responsible. Eager to learn and try new things. Very interested in Asian cultures and languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I currently live in an apt with 4 girls. We have couchsurfers over here occasionally, but I do not arrange the couchsurfing. My roommate does. It is her couch.

I've never done it before! I'm a newbie!

Japan!!! I love Japanese language and culture. Other Asian cultures and languages also interest me. Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean...My interest is not limited to Asia. My college major is anthropology, so I am interested in many cultures. I like learning about all the different kinds of people around the world.
I spend my time exercising, doing yoga, messing around on the internet, working at a Japanese restaurant, going to college, and hanging out with friends. I also enjoy ballroom dancing, singing, reading books, light rock climbing, running, and volunteering.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was taking an outdoor pursuits kayaking trip. And when I looked up at the night sky near Blackwater River, FL, USA, I could see ALL of the stars.

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know that the human body is comprised of 206 bones? And of these, 52 are in your feet. A quarter of all your bones are in the feet. Put those things to use and do some travelling :) They're built for it.
