Hello, my name is Brent and I am from Belgium. I am studying English and Spanish at Ghent University. My home town is Aalst, the second biggest city in the province of East Flanders and is situated right between Ghent and Brussels. I am active, hard-working, social and down-to-earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I'm studying languages and other cultures, I love to travel and to speak other languages. Couchsurfing is the ideal way to travel the world and to meet people from all around the world.

Interests

I love music and play the guitar, both acoustic and electric but if I have to choose one of them, I would choose my acoustic guitar. However, I love running without any music. Running alone in a city or in nature gives me a lot of self satisfaction.
Now and then, I play a role in an amateur theatre group and of course, I like theatre in general

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't have a favourite film or book because there are a lot of good ones. I adore films and I have watched an immense amount of them. If I have to recommend one film, I would say 'Casablanca', the all-time classic that everybody knows but still not everyone has seen.
