Taking a gap year off university and spending five months in America to travel and work in a Summer Camp!

I’m looking to see as many natural beauty sights as I can whilst I’m here in the states, I’ve already knocked off Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon and Yosemite and I’m looking now to see as much nature as I can before I head on home.

To receive a more authentic experience of living and travelling rather than sticking to being a tourist in another country. I want to feel what it’s like to be a born and raised member of whichever country I visit. It’s also a great way to hear about all the little mysteries and hidden parts of the local area and I can’t wait to offer my home for couchsurfers when I return back home to Australia to give them this experience as well!!

My favourite book is The Messenger by Markus Zusak whilst the best book I’ve ever read was The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett.

Some of my favourite movies are - Inception, The Railway Man, Jurassic Park

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Spending three weeks solo in Vietnam and getting to enjoy my own company whilst getting to visit Phong Nha National Park and sit on the ‘death swing’ overlooking a beautiful mountainous scene.

Also getting basic scuba diving certified on Catalina Island!!!

I am half way through my teaching degree after first finishing a bachelors degree in Exercise and Sports Science so I have a lot of knowledge and experience in that area!! I also work as a sports coach/sports teacher/facilitator in a range of different capacities!

For a long time I have wanted to learn a new language but never had the drive to pick a specific language until I had an experience learning sign language so if you know sign language please feel free to teach me some of the basics! I know the alphabet and a few phrases and would love to learn more!!
