About Me

I enjoy the challenge of learning to communicate in other languages. Different cultures fascinate me. I've done a good deal of traveling as of yet. I spend most of my free time reading and trying to learn new things. I like all sports, but prefer contact sports like rugby. I enjoy poker, play guitar and sing, and love to salsa and tango when I get a chance. Contact me for a drink or to host!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

Before I found out about CouchSurfing, I surfed couches without the network. I´d also host many individuals that I met who were passing through my city. This network is a great idea and I was ecstatic to stumble upon it. The CS'ers here in Rio are a lot of fun. Good group.

I´ve surfed many a couch and had several individuals stay with me both in and outside the network. It has always been great. The people I've met have made my travels much more enjoyable. My favorite thing about this network is how it allows one to arrive in a city and not waste time with the terribly touristy spots. Instead, you get to see the more interesting things the area has to offer. For someone interested in people and culutre, this network is a gem.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Anything that can give me an adrenaline rush. I've seen base-jumpers plummet off the fjords in Norway. Fantastic!
