So I've lived and worked in Washington, DC for about two years but I'm dreadful with directions so I'm still glued to my GPS. You'll rarely find me without a coffee and/or seltzer in hand. I'm often referred to as the friend who's "always down," no matter the hour or occasion. I love going to shows, sporting events, plays/musicals, music festivals, museums, happy hours, bottomless brunches, singing poorly while driving, volunteering, meditating, having movie nights, hikes, road trips, and camping adventures.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling Europe for the first time! Hope to meet some local people willing to provide suggestions on must see places/activities :)

- hanging out with friends
Music, Movies, and Books
There really isn't any type of music I can't get down to, but most notably: Above & Beyond, Rufus, Louis The Child, Joris Voorn, Skream, Grateful Dead, Janis Joplin, CCR, Tom Petty, Borns, Eric Church, ODESZA, Sade, Chet Faker, Portugal the Man, Mumford & Sons, Drake, CBDB, Alabama Shakes, Lil Wayne, Claude vonStroke, Thievery Corp, all of Anjunabeats/deep
As far as movies, I also am quite all over the map and can be just as easily in the mood for a documentary as a romcom--constantly surfing Netflix for potentials. The Revenant is probably the most recent movie I really liked.
Aaand for books Catcher in the Rye, A Long Way Gone, Life of Pi, The Color Purple, and To Kill a Mockingbird stand out
