If you were to ask anyone about me, they would tell you that I'm adventurous, I find beauty in any situation and I see good in everyone. I'm a smart, talented, caring individual who has more compassion in me than I know what to do with. I'm a people person and can bring a smile to anyone's face and I live to do so. I'm a huge believer in laughter being the best medicine, so if I ever get the privilege of meeting anyone who is reading this, I can already tell you I love to laugh and live to make others laugh, there is nothing more beautiful in a person than seeing someone smile!
Oh goodness, do I have enough space to write all this out? Let's see, I love learning about other cultures, I'd have to say that really grabs my attention. I am completely engulfed in a conversation about how other people live their lives and their traditions.Traveling is the best way for me to learn about it rather than reading it out of a book, I'd much rather be standing there learning the lifestyle firsthand. What makes my life engaging is the happiness and acceptance I have with other people. No single human being is alike and I just love that! It does not matter who or where you are, there are amazing people everywhere you look. I spend my time listening to music, taking pictures or even drawing them (I won't lie, I am not the greatest drawer) I spend most of my time looking up places I would like to go, and try to conjure up an affordable plan on a trip there but am usually disappointed in the results...that is until I found CouchSurfing!
Algo increíble que he hecho
I had the amazing opportunity to go on a trip to Europe and visit Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and France, and one of the most jaw-dropping experiences I've ever had happened when we went to Austria and took a tour of one of the Holocaust camps. I still remember it like it just happened yesterday, I woke up that morning feeling great, slept wonderful and woke up energized and completely refreshed, had a wonderful breakfast and got to see some of the most beautiful sights imaginable. We reached the camp and the very moment you step inside you are immediately drained of any happiness, and instead are filled with remorse, sorrow, and sympathy for everyone and everything that happened on the very ground you walked on. It wasn't a happy tour, but I was extremely honored to have had the opportunity to walk foot on history that changed the world. I was humbled and it made me appreciate what all I had. Another time I was awestruck was when I was in high school I performed a tribute song to Maynard Ferguson in front of hundreds of students from other schools as well as everyone from my school. I was first chair trumpet and was beyond nervous playing in front of all these kids who know nothing about the person I was paying tribute to, so I was scared to death they were going to judge me...harshly. I performed to the best of my ability and when I finally reached the end of the piece I had everyone on their feet applauding me...I received a standing ovation by some of the worlds harshest critics! Afterwards I had a director from another school approach me and told me that I did such a wonderful job, that he had goosebumps, and that he has never, nor will he ever listen to that piece the same again. After he walked away I ran to my director and started crying my darn eyes out, for I have never been praised by someone like that.
