ABOUT ME

HELLO! I've been taking a couple years mostly to travel around having fun and adventures. I drive across Europe a lot for projects in Norway, France and Austria and I return whenever possible to Istanbul and Budapest. I'm a friendly type, like to check out new cities, into music and films, flea markets, coffee, cocktails and good food.

Between technical contracts in IT, I buy and sell old things - furniture and textiles, industrial stuff, lighting, toys. I like old motorbikes and vintage cars, making stuff and fixing stuff, getting involved in projects.

Interests

This year I'm back and forth to Norway doing boat upholstery, metal work and bee keeping for the Sailing the Farm north of Oslo. Then down through France, some time in Spain then winter in Vienna.

Music, Movies, and Books

Old movies, electronica and funk music. Special place in my heart for Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes. Favourite author is E L Doctorow and I love the Patrick O'Brien books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Funnest thing lately was a roadtrip from London to Istanbul. Over two weeks we drove through western then eastern europe, through Dracula country to the black sea and down to istanbul. Interesting to see the changes as you go east. Favourite places are swiss alps, the italian lakes, zagreb and ljubljana. ALWAYS up for a good road trip.
