I am on couchsurfing mainly because circumstances made that this year I will have to travel alone for the first time. When I've heard about this website I thought it would resolve 2 of the lone traveller problems. The inabillity to split the bill and being alone. Well of course I assume guests must at least have some sort of gift for the host or something like that. ; )
