Overview
About Me
I am a lab manager in a psychology neuroimaging lab at the University of Miami. I was born and raised in Oregon, but I moved to Miami for work. I enjoy neuroscience and better understanding the human brain. The current lab I work in is better understanding the development of brain connectivity in children with autism. I enjoy meeting people and finding people to explore the world with.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couch Surfing in order to meet new people when I am traveling and hopefully to make some friends for life. I am planning on spending the summer in Europe and want to find people are there or are planning to travel their too. I want to meet people that share my passion for traveling and are looking to meet new people.
Interests
I enjoy being outdoors and exploring. I love to take pictures of the landscape while I am discovering new places to share with others. I try to capture the beauty of the outdoors as best the I can. If I am not outdoors I enjoy meeting new people and going to grab a beer.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like all types of music including: hip-hop, rock, classic rock, classical, and country.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent 2 weeks volunteering in Costa Rica working on a sea turtle conservation project. One of the things I am most proud of doing is taking part in the mangrove reforestation on the Osa Pennisula.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share stories, good conversation, and friendship. I am willing to help out around the house if they need it and if they ever travel to near me then I will return the hospitality.
